Following several signings - and with a few more still planned - coach Jose Mourinho is set for a clear-out this summer .
Real Madrid showed notable improvement last season, winning their first trophy in almost three years and reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League following several disappointing campaigns in European football's premier club competition.
Nevertheless, the hard work starts now for coach Jose Mourinho, who consistently claims his sides are better during his second season. That was proven at Inter, where he won a Serie A, Coppa Italia and Champions League treble in the 2009-10 campaign, having claimed just the league title in his first year.
In a summer of recruitment, Mourinho has already brought in Nuri Sahin, Hamit Altintop, Jose Callejon and Raphael Varane, but several more are expected to follow, including Neymar, Fabio Coentrao and perhaps even Sergio Aguero.
