Real Madrid : Arsenal Open Transfer Talks Regarding Karim Benzema '
Club Arsenal are interested in Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema and want to sign him in the summer. The France International, initially, took time to settle at Madrid but in the second half of the last season, he showed what he was capable of and was prolific for Madrid in the absence of Gonzalo Higuain.
The former Lyon striker has been touted to be one of the best players for France and the youngster has shown the talent to succeed at the highest level, which is why it is no surprise that he has attracted the interest of many top clubs including Arsenal. The Gunners have a lot of France Internationals in their current team including the likes of Bacary Sagna and Samir Nasri and they could help Benzema adjust to Arsenal, if he signed for the club.
However, it seems like Arsenal's representatives met Real Madrid officials in order to discuss the possibility of a possible transfer of striker Karim Benzema, though the forward has insisted in the past that he would like to stay at Madrid and fight for his place. Arsenal require a striker, who can be prolific and help them end the trophy drought and Benzema is one of those players, who suits the bill. However, if Madrid are not willing to sell the striker, it is possible that Arsenal could enquire about other possible options like Gonzalo Higuain.
