Robinho expresses Real Madrid regret '

Brazil international striker Robinho admitted he regrets the acrimonious nature of his move away from Real Madrid to Manchester City.
Speaking to Brazilian newspaper Folha, the star believes that it was the right choice to leave Madrid, as they were in pursuit of Cristiano Ronaldo, but regretted the circumstances that he left.
"I have two regrets in my career: how I left Real Madrid and how I left Santos. I don't regret that I left but the way everything was," he told Brazilian newspaper Folha.
"At Santos, things could have taken a different course but not in Madrid. But it is all over now. Everything serves to add to your experience."
He also admitted giving Brazil teammate Neymar some advice about a possible move.
"I am now 27 and Neymar is 19," Robinho revealed.
"I try to give him advice, both on and off the field.
"European football is different and much stronger than Brazilian football. He does not need much advice. He is a born footballer."

Neymar intends to stay at Santos '

Brazilian striker Neymar is ready to snub offers from Europe in favour of staying in his homeland.
The 19-year-old is hot property right now, with a drawn-out transfer saga covering his every move.
It appeared at one stage as though he would be on his way out of Santos this summer, with the likes of Chelsea and Real Madrid leading the chase for his signature.
His current employers have always maintained, however, that they will do all they can to keep the teenager in Brazil.
Victory in the Copa Libertadores has aided their cause considerably, with Santos now set to compete in the Club World Cup in December.
They now claim that they are to reject all bids for Neymar, having previously accepted five offers believed to be in the region of £41million.
Neymar has also announced that he has no intention of discussing a deal with any interested party, with it his plan to see out a contract which is set to run until 2015.
"I have a contract that I intend to honour," he told Corujao do esporte.

Adebayor to wait all summer for Real '

Emmanuel Adebayor is prepared to wait all summer if necessary for Real Madrid to take him back.
The Togolese striker took in a productive loan spell at Santiago Bernabeu last season after slipping down the pecking order at Manchester City.
He thoroughly enjoyed his time in the Spanish capital and has made it clear that his preference would be to secure a permanent switch to Los Blancos.
Such a move has failed to materialise, with the likes of Blackburn and Zenit St Petersburg the only sides to express an interest so far.
Adebayor, though, claims Real boss Jose Mourinho has promised that he will do all he can to bring him on board.
Taking that into account, the experienced frontman claims he is willing to sit tight and let the transfer window tick down.
"I am prepared to wait until the last minute of the window on 31st August," Adebayor told Marca.
"Mourinho told me he will do everything to bring me back and I am optimistic that a deal can be done.
"For me, Real are everything. I love the club.
"On my last day working with the club, my team-mates demanded that I be brought back for next season. That was incredible.
"I don't believe that Manchester City will create any problems and will be happy to sell. I don't think I am of interest to coach Roberto Mancini.
"During my loan last season I scored eight goals and that is not a bad return.
"I think I completed my mission, but people in Madrid have not seen the true Adebayor. I can still do much better."

Pedro Leon tipped for Valencia move '

Reports emanating from Spain have linked out-of-favour Real Madrid midfielder Pedro Leon with a move to La Liga rivals Valencia.
Leon arrived at Real in the summer of 2010 for a fee of €10million, after establishing himself as one of Spain's hottest prospects in his time with Getafe.
However, Leon struggled to force his way into Real's star-studded line-up, and had to regularly play second fiddle to the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Mesut Ozil and Angel Di Maria.
With his chances of establishing himself at the Santiago Bernabeu looking increasingly bleak, especially with the arrivals of Hamit Altintop and Nuri Sahin, AS believes Valencia are keeping a close eye on the 24-year-old.
According to the publication, Valencia are looking for a new winger to replace veteran Joaquin, who has since left the club to join Malaga.
Leon's contract with Real runs until 2016, but Real could allow him to leave should they be able to recoup a significant portion of the €10m they splashed out on him.

Fabregas to Real Madrid ?

My predictions are more or less proving to be true, not saying that I am any good at making predictions but it just shows that every summer, all that the media does is link every other player to Real Madrid.
The latest player linked with a move to Real Madrid is none other than Barcelona’s target Cesc Fabregas. Fabregas wants to move away from Arsenal because of many reasons. One of them is that they are a junk team. Second reason is that Arsenal have not won any major trophy for like a decade (ok, may be less, I am gonna have to check on that).
Barcelona have said that they will not pay outrageous amount of money for Fabregas but Real Madrid have offered Arsenal something like 50 million euros. Which I think Arsenal will accept. I do however think that it would be Fabregas who would not move to Real Madrid. That would be seen as a disloyal move from Fabregas as Barcelona is his boyhood club.
Apparently, Mourinho thinks that Real Madrid are relying on Alonso a bit too much. Whenever he does not perform well, the whole team suffers a lot as there isn’t any other player better than Alonso (in the current Real Madrid squad) who can switch play from defense to attack with one touch of a football.
I think Real Madrid should look towards the academy for young players rather than signing big name, big price players. Fabregas would not fit at Real Madrid. I would pick Kaka instead of him in the center of the midfield any day. Fabregas is not good at defending or tracking back. This is the case with Kaka too.
But kaka can score goals and Fabregas can’t. Kaka is more or less the ultimate player. He has speed, he can dribble, he can pass and he can score goals. Only Lampard and Gerrard come close to him in this regard. Even these two do not have the pace of Kaka.

What do you guys think, should Real Madrid buy Fabregas?

Bronzetti: Real will not sell Higuain '

Transfer consultant Ernesto Bronzetti is adamant talk that Real Madrid could be ready to sell Gonzalo Higuain are mere fabrications.
Despite being Real's standout striker for the last few seasons, the Spanish media have regularly speculated over Higuain's future at the club this summer.
Cristiano Ronaldo's 40-goal haul in La Liga this season has seen him come to be viewed as an out-and-out striker, while Karim Benzema impressed when standing in for Higuain last season when the Argentinean was out injured.
With coach Jose Mourinho's preference to use one striker as the arrowhead of a three-pronged attack involving two wider forwards, questions have been raised over the ability to accomodate Higuain and Ronaldo in the same side.
Serie A outfit Roma, buoyed financially after their takeover by American businessman Thomas DiBenedetto, have been linked with Higuain, but Bronzetti, who is a transfer market expert with strong links to Real, believes the 23-year-old is staying at the club.
"It's all lies," the Italian expert told Radio Centro Suono. "He is not for sale.
"Ten people have called for Higuain, but there is nothing."
Bronzetti even went as far as suggesting Higuain was invaluable to the club.
"There is not price for him as Real Madrid do not want to sell.
"These are the words of the directors, not mine."
Higuain had a slow start to life at Real after joining from River Plate in 2007, netting just eleven goals in 57 appearances in his first two seasons.
However, it was in third term with Los Blancos when he truly started to fire, hitting the back of the net 24 times in 44 appearances, before following up with a 29-goal haul in 40 games the following year.
The Argentinean international was hampered by injury last season but still managed to net thirteen goals in 25 appearances.
